How Do I Calculate Macros For Fat Loss - Why Belly Fat Hurts the Heart
Belly fat folded deep in your waist can be worse for your arteries than the fat than the rest of your body.
This is according to the University of Michigan scientists, studying the risks to the health of abdominal fat, also called visceral fat.
Here is what Mine Ohman, MD, PhD and colleagues learned from their laboratory tests in mice:
In these tests, some rats received a visceral fat transplant. Other rats received a subcutaneous fat transplant (which is directly under the skin, not deep in the belly) or without fat transplantation.
The bottom line: Visceral fat brought the most inflammation and the worst atherosclerosis.
After visceral fat transplantation, mice developed less severe atherosclerosis if its chow was tied with diabetes drug acts for 10 weeks. But ACHOS do not affect atherosclerosis in other rats, and researchers are not ready to recommend any medicines for visceral fat.
Do not disregard the study, published online in circulation, just because the tests were made in rats. Other studies linked belly fat to health risks in people.
Belly fat makes milled, but it takes work. Researchers have found that exercise is a must to get rid of belly fat. If you are not exercising already, check with your doctor before starting a new fitness plan.
